How to Use the PLB
- Turn off the lights in the room and make it as dark as possible so that it is easier to see the Pink Luminous Breast.
- Many women find it comfortable to use lubricants to allow the lens to slide across the skin more easily. If you wish to use lubricant make sure it is water based and not oil based which could ruin the device.
- Set the intensity to one of the four different intensity levels. Generally larger or firmer breast will require a higher intensity.
- Slowly move the PLB around your breast and do this until you see as much of your breast as you can. The breast tissue goes right around the under arms and high up on the chest towards your shoulder - so be sure to check there as well.
What to look for
When you are looking at your breast with the PLB you may see some dark spots or shadowy areas. It is possible that these are abnormalities in your breast.
